It's the inside story of how it all began; with insights into the Academy's System of Discipline, Academic Training and Military Training; the expectations placed upon these special young men by the Academy and the Air Force and what it meant to be men of honor. Not unlike Jim Bouton's book "Ball Four "about Major League Baseball or Pappy Boyington's book "Baba Black Sheep" about his exploits as a Marine fighter pilot in WWII. "Off We Go..." has the same seriousness and downright humorous remembrances as those works. This work is dedicated to those who accompanied me on this adventure and to those who have followed.
